Why Photography?

Photography has always been a passion of mine. Having been born and raised within the Annapolis Valley, NS, I grew up loving the landscapes surrounding me. I have always been a creative spirit with a true passion for storytelling. Starting out on a point and shoot Sony in my teens, I realized that visual storytelling was a journey I wanted to embark on. I left Nova Scotia in my late teens to follow my passion of film-making. I studied Film & Television production at Humber College in Toronto with a real interest in art design and cinematography. My journey back home to Nova Scotia also led me back to my love of photography. What I learned and loved about cinema, I now strive to capture within my work.
